OUR STORY
Yuvraj and Elijah met in college while networking at venture capital events at UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business. Since then, Yuvraj and Elijah have both went on to work in venture capital, private equity, private wealth management, and venture/tech banking. While Elijah was working at First Republic Bank, he met Chris, who was the director of technology and venture banking at the Palo Alto corporate office. With similar passions for venture investing and experience either closing multiple deals in the venture space, or leading the banking side for venture deals and fundraising, the three have decided to launch Upskill Ventures to pursue their dreams to run their own venture capital fund.
Upskill Ventures is operated by three partners, who are incredibly passionate about the venture and software space. We strive to help our founders scale and exit, while providing a hands on comprehensive program, giving our program cohorts applicable experience in Venture Capital.

THE PROGRAM
Upskill Ventures is the world's first venture fund and investor accelerator looking to democratize the industry for individuals looking to break into venture capital and private equity. Our business model provides exceptional returns for our investors and gives individuals a comprehensive hands-on experience in the private markets. The program will be run on a quarterly basis. The first week will be a holistic crash course into the fine details of venture capital, ranging from term sheet structure to financial modeling software's, to valuations and resume workshops. Other topics covered include how to use CRMs, and relational skill workshops to improve networking skills. After this first week, students will get on the ground and start sourcing and evaluating startups. They will learn first hand how to evaluate companies, how to speak with founders, and how to draft investment memos.
Every Monday Partners will host meetings where students will present their
findings and memos on the deals they evaluated to move that company forward in the investment process. Our fund goal is to close three investments per quarter. We will be accepting students internationally and will give scholarships to certain applicants. After the program, given KPI fulfillment, and passing our assessments, students will receive a certificate of completion.
Members of our program will receive equity in the investments that we close. The equity into our fund from our members will be taken from the tuition fees we charge. Our program will be $5,000.00, but this can be paid in installments with a $500 up front cost for enrollment.
On top of this, we will be investing into the top software startups globally, lead by a team with deep experience in Venture. We prioritize coaching the next wave of talent in venture and innovation.
